ACCORD have put in place a new training initiative within the Organisation which provides systems, Educational and training programmes to increase the overall quality of the Organisation so that it meets the needs of all members. Induction The Initial training process starts with Induction. This takes place over a Friday and Saturday in September and is held in Maynooth. Training Training involves eight Saturdays plus one Friday night. These dates are from October to May on a monthly basis. Facilitation Skills training is provided which includes understanding group dynamics and dealing with the challenges involved in working with groups. These Workshops also provide Facilitators with the necessary skills on how to understand the course content, how to use the Manuals and how to plan the structure and delivery of each session. Trainees attend at least part of a Pre-Marriage Course as an observer during the training. The final workshop is on the Spirituality Of Marriage.
